 * Is this reproducible?
 * If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

Well, once turning the program Kicad, go in printing and follow all of the steps until the moment of choosing the printer. Choice to print in file and later choose the file type.ps or.pdf then tries to print the leaf in way landscape and see the result. Even if the impression display case shows the orientation of the leaf correctly, the impression will always come out in the orientation picture.
Yes, this is easily reproducible.

Dear sergio, can you submit a screenshot from this print dialog? Because I saw Kicad dependencies and is using old versions of gnome librarys.

Dear Kamus,

Enclosed the screenshots that you requested proceeds. The screenshot numbers 1 is the screen of that that I intend print. The screenshot numbers 2 is the dialogue box of selection of the file type, in this case.pdf. The screenshot numbers 3 is the dialogue box of the positioning of the paper. The screenshot numbers 4 is the dialogue box of positioning of the image. The screenshot number 5 is the visualization of the impression and the screenshot number 6 is the final impression. The final impression also proceeds as file.pdf and it results in a crossed impression.

Thank you.

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here. Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!

1. If I print the schematics in landscape mode:

The page is printed fine in landscape mode. But it appears in portrait mode in PDF reader like evince. So, I have to rotate the pdf everytime I read it on my computer.

2. If I print it in portrait mode.

The page is fine, but it fits the schematic that is generally a landscape page, on a page that is in portrait.

It seams its a problem of guttenprint (in my case it even changes the scale not equally for X and Y). They replaced driver with another one where the problems were partially solved and returned the old one in new versions of Ubuntu.

The problem affects me at Linux Mint 19.3 Mate (Ubuntu 18.04 base), when I try to print as portable PDF. It seems that kicad doesn't care if the page-setting is portrait or landscape and always print in portrait-format. But default settings of the printer is landscape.
This problem is mostly visible, if you select "scale to pagesize", not 1:1
