Bug Description

The KiCad package cannot be installed using the Gnome Software application although all the needed metadata appears to be present. Maybe some multiarch-related issue?

@ginggs: Who should I subscribe then? According to the KiCad changelog, you are the current package maintainer. This bug (and many others) was reported more than two months ago and nobody even bother to reply.

Unlike Debian, Ubuntu Universe packages do not have maintainers. You'll see the current maintainer is listed as Ubuntu Developers, often you'll see the Debian maintainer's name there. I happened to do the last upload in order to fix a problem building KiCad with Boost 1.61.

If you can find the solution to the Gnome Software issue, please post it here and then subscribe ubuntu-sponsors who can then upload it for you.
