   echo c > /proc/sysrq-trigger with linux-crashdump installed

This bug is probably not relevant anymore, I just tried on my laptop and it crashed nicely:

ii linux-crashdump 3.13.0.49.56 amd64 Linux kernel crashdump setup for the latest generic kernel

Kernel: 3.16.0-28-generic

On trusty.
