/etc/default/
I.e., it has 755 permissions.
$ ls -l /etc/default/
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 84 2009-11-02 19:01 /etc/default/
It should have 644 permissions like every other /etc/default file.
$ ls -l /etc/default/
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 47 2009-09-07 20:58 /etc/default/
