Please update KeePassX to v2.0 Alpha

The Alpha release of KeePassX 2.0 is available. With the poor ratings of KeePass2 on Ubuntu and KeePassX providing support for .kdbx files, it would be great to have this in Raring.

I for one really would like .kdbx support, particularly now that this has been added to KeyPassDroid, as my passwords are constantly getting out of sync with my desktop and I don't know which database to keep!

I've unsubscribed ubuntu-archive as this isn't something we would take archive-administrative action on; upgrading packages is up to developers. Feel free to resubscribe us if there's a concrete action for us to take that's actually within our remit.

KeePassX 2 is still an *alpha* version so it's not yet suitable for the Ubuntu archive.

I do however offer a PPA with daily builds for those who would like to test it:
