Bug Description
kdump-tools was split out of makedumpfile into its own source package in Debian. Since this is source that was already in main, I'd like to request that kdump-tools also be included in main.
I'm submitting this "lightweight" MIR per https:/
"If a new source package contains only code which is already in main (e.g., the result of a source package split or rename, or source packages with a version in the name), it may not need a full review. Submitting a bug with an explanation is sufficient."

Old source in main
makedumpfile | 1:1.6.8-2ubuntu1 | hirsute | source, amd64, arm64, armhf, ppc64el, s390x
New source in universe:
kdump-tools | 1:1.6.8.2 | hirsute/universe | source
binary in main:
kdump-tools | 1:1.6.8.2 | hirsute | amd64, arm64, armhf, ppc64el, s390x
That is BTW the binary built from the source that still is in universe.

The content in there does indeed match.
Dependencies are already in place, all that is needed to resolve it so more the src_kdump-tools to main.
MIR Team Ack
Marking F-Commited for the AAs to pick it up.
