kdiff3 chokes on files with executable permissions, breaking git mergetool

Bug Description

See http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.version-control.git/112568 and http://kdiff3.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/kdiff3/trunk/kdiff3/src-QT4/fileaccess.cpp?r1=84&r2=96 . This makes git mergetool with kdiff3 not function correctly. It has been fixed in KDIff3 0.9.95. Please update the package. : )

For future reference you might be interested to know that a lot of applications have bug reporting functionality built in to them. This can be accessed via the Report a Problem option in the Help menu for the application with which you are having an issue. As far as I see 0.9.95 is available in karmic, therefore closing this as fixed now.
