Bug Description

Binary package hint: quanta

I'm experiencing a bad memory leak, when using Quanta on Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. Over a period of a few hours, Quanta gradually eats up a huge amount of the RAM on my computer, ~ 1.5+ GB of RAM. When I quit Quanta, the RAM is immediately released.

I installed my Quanta from the quanta package. There is also a kdewebdev package, which I haven't used, but I assume the bug is also present in the copy of Quanta contained in that package.

Note that Quanta is a KDE app, that in this case I'm running under GNOME. Quanta is a great app; I suspect a lot of people are using Quanta on GNOME.
