Bug Description
The "find in files" feature of KDevelop 3.5.0 doesn't work since the upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy. It fails with error 123 on the console.
Search Results:
cat .../.grep.tmp| grep -v -e '/CVS/' -e '/SCCS/' -e '/\.svn/' -e '/_darcs/' | xargs egrep -H -n -s -e 'PyImport_'
*** 0 matches found. ***
*** Exited with status: 123 ***
I tried both with a new project file and an old project file from before the upgrade.
KDevelop: 3.5.0
KDE: 3.5.8
Ubuntu: Gutsy 7.10

I find that Kdevelop has a bug in the find in files interface for remote shares only:
Ubuntu 7.10
file->open correctly uses the network folders interface and allows you to work on remote folders.
edit->findinfiles tries to use the interface but will not open an ssh or ftp share
It *could* be that there is a simple syntax bug around the "remote:" part of the path. I tried several variations to no avail.
workaround: use sshfs or smbmount to establish a share. That is usable in edit->findinfiles
