Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdesudo

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Kubuntu 7.10.
2. Press Alt+F2 and run: kdesudo kwrite
3. Close KWrite
4. Launch KWrite normally with: kwrite
5. KWrite will complain about a read-only config file.

This has long been the reason why Ubuntu users caution not to use sudo with X11 apps. Why bring this bug into KDE?
In 7.04, it used kdesu which used the config files in /root, and all was well.
I will try removing kdesudo and see if it acts like Feisty Fawn again (my desired behavior.)

Success! When I removed kdesudo, kubuntu-desktop stayed intact (it's a recommendation) and kdesu took over.
