Bug Description

Binary package hint: kate

In feisty, Kate will open objective-c source files using the Scientific/Matlab highlighting mode, and objective-c header files using the Sources/C++ highlighting mode, although a Sources/Objective-C highlighting modes does exist.
Additionally, I have noticed that one of the mimetypes for objective-c highlighting in Kate is text/c-objc-src. I konqueror however, reports the mimetypes at text/c-objcsrc and correctly detects the type of the files, i.e. mouseover puts Objective-C source file in the status bar.

If this still occurs in the latest kate (3.1.1, distributed with KDE 4.1.1) it should be reported upstream at bugs.kde.org and the bug report linked here.
