Can anyone please explain what Akonadi is and why it is suddenly needed by Kontact? My Akonadi is not running and I don't know how to make it run. My Kontact does not start at all after upgrading to Lucid (Ubuntu 10.4)
The following line keeps on scrolling when I start Kontact in Terminal:
