kmail fetch mail multiple from server if "leave on server for x days" is enabled

Since today's update on gutsy (amd64) kmail fetch mails manifold from a pop3 server although "leave on server for x days" is enabled.

Updated version of kmail: 3.5.7enterprise20070828-0ubuntu1

On Feisty and the version before today's update does not show this issue. So it cannot be related to the mailhost

Furthermore, if I fetch the mail first to kmail on gutsy and then to kmail on feisty and again fetch mails to gutsy the mails which should be leaved at the server is fetched again and on some circumstances the manifold fetched mail is displayed with unknown sender, date and subject. Within the message only a string like "1 UID21-1188301193" is displayed.
Again fetching mails to feisty (for feisty only) results in correct behaviour and the mail is leaved on the server. Back to gutsy again......(see above)

This is very very annoying and should be fixed as soon as possible

Addition! The behaviour described above seems not to be related to all mail-host-server. On another mail-account from a different mail provider the bug does not occur.

Here some output attached from kmail started with kmail --check from a terminal with enabled feature as described above. By the way if Kmail is started from a termina I receive in every case "LST not completed"

Correction:
Tests of the described behaviour results in finding more than on mail-server. I've test this with three different mail-provider with different pop3 server. For all I get the result that kmail fetch the mails manifold from the server. This is also true for the behaviour described in bug 13541

With today's version of kontact, kdepim etc (Version 1.2.4 (enterprise 20070825.704286)) the affected features are working as expected

Thanks for report. This bug should be fixed with latest update of kdepim (3.5.7enterprise20070904-0ubuntu1). Please try new version and feel free to open new bug (or re-open) if you experience any problem with latest version.
