KDE Itinerary KMail plug-in not working since 25.10

The KMail plug-in KDE PIM Add-ons no longer works since upgrading to Kubuntu 25.10.

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu:

2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or by checking in Software Center

3) What you expected to happen:
You can import train connections in Kmail directly into a calendar from an email containing the booking confirmation.

4) What happened instead:
kmail no longer offers the option of transferring train connections from Deutsche Bahn booking confirmations.
