Bug Description

After a fresh install of Kdenlive it complaints that there is some problem with MLT and that it can't find an SDL module. This makes it impossible to run the version of the program that is on the official Ubuntu 11.10 repositories. It seems the problem is related to an incorrect version of libmlt++3. The available version of this lib (0.7.4-3) seems to be incompatible with the version of kdenlive currently available (0.8-4).

Steps to reproduce:

1) Install kdenlive from the Ubuntu repositories
2) Run kdenlive

Expected result:

Kdenlive works and I can do video editing

Actual result:

Kdenlive doesn't even start and I can't do video editing
