Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdenlive
When configuring kdenlive it mentions it needs the following packages for the described features. Quite often packages recommend things software can use for certain features and suggests additional packages for tools that go well with packages. Without any of the following kdenlive will start but you get no functionality. The following packages should AT LEAST be suggested, but really need to be recommended. This is a packaging bug.
Inigo for rendering
ffmpeg for multiple formats
libdv or avformat to work with dv files
qimage to work with images
ffplay (and ffmpeg) to work with web cams
recordmydesktop for screen capture
dvgrab for firewire capture
dvdauthor for dvd creation
mkisofs to create dvd iso images
In Jaunty it depends on inigo and ffmepg. It recommends dvgrab. The others could probably be added as suggests or recommends.
