White border appears around kwifimanager system tray icon

Bug Description

After I recently installed KUbuntu (w/ KDE 3.4), I started up KWifimanager.
When it appears on the system
tray, I notice a strange white border (different from the taskbar color)
surrounding the tray icon. Can this be
fixed to match the taskbar's color?

fixed somewhere between kde 3.4 and kde 3.5.1 on dapper
