kopete silently crashes

Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdenetwork-kde4
Kopete, when not using it (i.e. in the background) silently crashes. aaport doesn't even run and I have to start kopete again, which doesn't seem to do any bug reporting cause of the crash.
I have 1 yahoo account and 2 msn accounts logged in, I have about 200 contacts with about 10 online at a time. Most of htese users are in one of the msn accounts.
If soeone can explain how I get the logs so I can provide more info, that'd be grand.

This happens for me, too. I'm using xmpp as single account. When I close kopete so that it is in the notification area it crashes after some time. When I try to open the kopete window from the notification area this is not possible and nothing happens. This happens at least since Maverick and still applies to Natty.
