Hello,

I'm using Kubuntu 8.04 beta. And for me the muting of the Master Channel does not work also. I have a Soundblaster Audigy. I have commented on this Bug already for Kubuntu 7.04 (Bug #106521). My setup expect the version of kubuntu is still the same. The problem has also occurred with Kubuntu 7.10. If you need any more information please let me know. I would be really happy if this will be fixed.

Best Regards

Jiri

I'm also experiencing problems with KMix, Amarok and keyboard keys. Here's the situation. Running Hardy, KDE3. I have Logitech Media keyboard. By default if i press media buttons (mute, volume down, volume up) Kmix OSD is showing and says Mute On, Mute Off (nothing happens though). Volume Up works to 10%, Volume Down 0%, so i can switch 0% or 10%, however still no change.
I've made bindings in Amarok to volume up, volume down and mute but they can't work with Kmix running. If I shut down Kmix, when i press one of the 3 buttons, Kmix is starting again.
I don't know what to do. I want my keys to work properly.

I have a similar problem. There is "Front" channel which I set as master channel. But when I try to change volume with keyboard wheel, volume of PCM channel is changed instead. The volume display in the middle of the screen shows Front channel though. Mute key works correctly.

Kubuntu 8.10
HDA Nvidia audio
Logitech G15 keyboard with G15Daemon
