Bug Description

Binary package hint: dolphin

I am using "Dolphin 1.2.1 using KDE 4.2.2.". I could not delete a file named "één pakketje.jpg". I tried renaming. It is not related tot access rights. The status line reports the file name using upside-down-question-marks. The popup messages report "file not found" sometimes using the dark-question-mark-character sometimes the upside-down-question-marks. Forgive me not wrtiting down all combinations I tried: deleting via the trash or using shift-del, tryinig to rename etc.

I finally managed to delete it using the console using "rm *pakketje*.jpg".

Jonathan,

I just tried it using Dolphin 1.3 on KDE 4.3.2. on Ubuntu 9.10. I cannot
reproduce this error. Bug may be closed.

Kind regards,

Jules Lauwerier.
