I cannot reproduce this. I just created a URL link on my desktop with https://wiki.ubuntu.com/XglHowto and it worked fine? Have you updated and can you still reproduce this? Thank you. |

I think you misunderstood the problem (or my explanation was bad)... The "Web Shortcuts" is the stuff that allows you to type "gg:Kubuntu" to search Kubuntu on Google, for example. It is configured in "Settings", "Configure Konqueror", "Web Shortcuts". If you define a new Web Shortcut with something like : DocU (for Documentation Ubuntu), you won't be able to use that shortcut. If your shortcut is docu or DOCU, it will work.
I can still reproduce this. => Reverting to "Confirmed".
N.B. "All uppercase" does not work here. |
