Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-plasma

Environment: Kubuntu 9.04
Package version: kdebase-plasma 4:4.2.2-0ubuntu4

This should be reproducible on an installed system by logging in as a new user, or by removing all your kde settings with "mv .kde kde4-backup".

On the first login, the folder view widget on the desktop doesn't draw any background (only the icons and title text). As soon as you click on it, or invoke any other action, it draws the background in.

No screenshot for reasons above :-). (I tried running it under KVM on 8.10, but it hung on a black X screen before reaching that point).
