Bug Description

Environment: Kubuntu 9.04 live cd
Package version: kdebase-plasma-4:4.2.2-0ubuntu4

If you suspend the computer while running the live cd, on resume the Device Notifier popup appears, showing the live CD under "devices recently plugged in" (and no other devices are shown).

It doesn't happen immediately on resume. Judging by the sound of it, it appears to happen after the CD drive has spun up to full speed.

Clearly, since the CD is mounted throughout, no such popup should appear.

This appears to be due to "change" uevents which occur over suspend. I do not know why these uevents should occur, so perhaps this is a kernel bug. See attached "udevadm --monitor -e" output.
