Bug Description

The Kubuntu Dapper flight5 splash screen (after entering user/passwd from kdm) is not correctly formatted. Several of the startup icons appear "outside the box" for the default splash.

This is on a 1920x1200 LCD (Dell Inspiron 9300 notebook).

Same on HP nw8240 with same resolution.

this appears to be fixed for me, do you still get this behaviour in latest dapper?

Yes, this is still an issue with 1920x... displays. People working on artwork/splash are aware of it:

Icons are now properly positioned (version 0.4.2-0ubuntu6), the only problem remains too small background image for 1920x1200 display.

I've a similar issue with my dual head config. The splash screen is only displayed one one screen, and on the other I can see desktop loading.
