Bug Description
Binary package hint: dolphin
1) lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04
vitor@seattle:~$ uname -a
Linux seattle 2.6.28-8-generic #24-Ubuntu SMP Wed Feb 18 18:48:55 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
2) apt-cache policy dolphin
dolphin:
Installed: 4:4.2.0-0ubuntu3
Candidate: 4:4.2.0-0ubuntu3
Version table:
*** 4:4.2.0-0ubuntu3 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
3) What I expected to happen:
a) Configure System Settings > Keyboard & Mouse > Mouse > Icons > Double-click to open files and folders
b) Open Dolphin and show the folders tree (F7 or View > Panels > Folders)
c) Single-click a folder in the tree, the folder's contents are shown in the main panel on the right.
4) What happened instead:
In step (c), it doesn't show the folder's contents. I have to double-click the folder in the tree to do that.
I hope this is a bug, and not the planned behavior...
Thank you.
Upstream has committed a fix for KDE 4.3, but we could probably backport it to our KDE 4.2 patches. websvn. kde.org/ ?view=rev& revision= 920754
