Bug Description

kicker crashes on logout and sometimes hangs forever making impossible to shut the system down. The only solution is to kill it.

Aaron Seigo tells that it is a bug in libqxim, not kde.
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120650

Even Thiago Macieira told the same thing here:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113242#c7

The only way I found to "workaround the bug" is to disable libqxim.so renaming it (/usr/libqt3/plugins/inputmethods/libqxim.so.old).
