Bug Description
Any image that is displayed using Kubuntu on Apple Macintosh Hardware (in my case a Mac Mini) is given a yellow tint if the image is scaled up or down. The image is first rendered in the correct color, then appears to have a yellow tint wipe downwards. Sometimes (not always) icon previews of pictures also have the yellow tint. Also sometimes (but not always) other items on the screen will appear to be "ghosted" into the yellow tint.
This problem only affects images that are scaled up or down. Images rendered at their actual size are not affected.
This only appears to affect KDE/QT applications. Viewing with the GIMP does not appear to exhibit the problem.

There does not appear to be any way to attach a file to this bug. I can email some photographs of the problem showing both the yellow tint, and the "ghosting" I mentioned (in this case the "ghost" appears as garbage, rather than a garbled version of an item elsewhere on screen. william_a_hood at comcast dot net
