Fail Safe login broken due to missing xterm

The fail safe login option is broken in Intrepid Beta 1 due to a missing xterm. Installing xterm fixes the issue.

This was a fresh install from Kubuntu Alternate install CD.

I am not sure about this, IIRC in KDE 3 fail safe used Konsole. Certainly needs some investigation.

I am the author of duplicated bug #312733
I looked in the file kdebase_3.5.9-0ubuntu7.diff and I found the "konsole.prerme" and "konsole.postinst" adding "konsole" to "x-terminal-emulator" and lacking in the KDE4.X series.
Someone more experienced than me could fix it?

Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope lacks of a dependency on xterm -> failsafe login does not work unless xterm is installed manually. A solution could be to add "xterm" as dependency of kdm.
