[kdesktop] [hardy] graphical problems with icons and wallpaper

Hi,
when i drops/move icons on the wallpaper, trails appear (see attachment).

Sometimes, when i do: K Menu -> Log Out -> icons disappear in the left-top of the wallpaper.
With Ctrl+Alt+Suppr, i have never get the problem.
It seems there is a link with the position «Scale & Crop» of my wallpaper (*.jpg 1024x768 px).

This shouldn't be an issue in Kubuntu Intrepid Ibex (8.10) since KDesktop is no more. (replaced by Plasma)
If it is, please reopen this bug report.
