khelpcenter: unable to create manpage index

Bug Description

$ LANG=C apt-cache policy khelpcenter
khelpcenter:
  Installed: 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu7.2
  Candidate: 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu7.2
  Version table:
 *** 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu7.2 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-proposed/main Packages
                                  ^^^^

when trying to index mapages i get:

Global symbol "$kdekdehtmldir" requires explicit package name at /usr/bin/khc_docbookdig.pl line 94.
Execution of /usr/bin/khc_docbookdig.pl aborted due to compilation errors.

First i thought it might be the same issue as:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebase-runtime/+bug/215216

but i was told, that it's most probably different. Therefore reporting a new bug.

This is reproducible on hardy.

1) Open khelpcenter
2) Open tab search options
3) Check Unix manual pages
4) Click Build Search Index
5) Click Build Index
6) Click on Details

the error message is shown there.

importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Triaged

the packages currently in hardy-proposed fixed it for me.
