Bug Description

I can't my partitions in the system:/media kio_slave.
This is my /etc/fstab:

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hda2 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/hdb1 /media/hdb1 vfat defaults,umask=000 0 0
/dev/hdb2 /media/hdb2 vfat defaults,umask=000 0 0
/dev/hda5 none swap sw 0 0
/dev/hdc /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0
/dev/hdd /media/cdrom1 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0

If I disable the hal backend in the kcontrol module, I see the partitions.

I can confirm this, only the floppy icon is visible. Icons of cdroms and usb removable devices appears only when they are
inserted, so the automount feature at least works. I confirm that disabling the hal backend icons appears, but the
automount won't work anymore.

Works for me. This seems to be about a beta of KDE so I guess this has been fixed by now.
