Bug Description

Well to be honest, its only real player as far as I am aware. Real works as a stand alone and as an embedded
player in Firefox. Konq fails and gives the following messages:

Can't init Audio Driver 'alsasink' - trying another one...

Can't init Video Driver 'xvimagesink' - trying another one...

No useable video-driver found! (xvimagesink)

And then it crashes. A good site to test it with is the BBC radioplayer.

Kaffeine Xine works most of the time.

Which version of realplayer are you using?

realplayer 10 from the marillat(?) reps.

I want to use the radio player in the browser as it means I can
listen to old stuff.

I realised that I hadn't made this clear in the initial bug report.

This problem only occurred with Breezy. It worked fine in Hoary-even with KDE 3.4.2.

I have just done a clean install of Breezy and it still does not work, but it does work in
Firefox.

I got exactly the same problem when using kaffeine (did not try with realplayer).

I have just updated to 3.5 rc2 and this has now been solved. It was still there in rc1 so the
solution is somewhere in the changes.

This bug only happens for me when the kaffeine-xine package is not installed. It was not installed by default breezy but
now that I have installed it, this error message no longer comes up and konqueror no longer crashes. I think that because
the xine backend for kaffeine is very useful, and stops this bug, it should be installed with kubuntu by default.
