"Safely remove" inexistent on Desktop & in Konqueror (Hardy)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: konqueror

I upgraded to Hardy Beta yesterday. While I do appreciate the innovation that can be clearly seen, it is somewhat annoying that I can no longer safely remove stuff from the desktop (and Konqueror for that matter as I prefer it to Dolphin). The option is just ... gone! Please fix this. Thank you.

thank you for your quick answer. I'm sorry i neglected to mention that I am running hardy with kde 3.5.9, not 4.0.2 ; dolphin-kde4 lists all devices neatly and offers an option to unmount them, on the (kde3) desktop though there is no such option (not even in konqueror).
