Binary package hint: kdm
I just installed Gutsy. When I try to login to KDE, immediately after I press the login button, kdm crashes.
kdm.log shows:
(EE) AIGLX: Screen 0 is not DRI capable
The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
> Warning: Type "ONE_LEVEL" has 1 levels, but <RALT> has 2 symbols
> Ignoring extra symbols
Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server |

Good afternoon,
I noticed this bug was opened 2007-11-05 and I am wondering if you are still having problesm with KDM crashing on login? If so could you please update this bug with the current version of Kubuntu and KDE you are using.
Thanks,
Jonathan |

UPDATE: I have solved the problem long ago and forgot about this bug report. Unfortunately I do not even remember how I solved the problem, I guess an "apt-get upgrade" did the job.
