Bug Description

I have used Konqueror a bit on Kubuntu, and I loticed something that has
bothered me with
Konqueror for quite a while. If you use tabbed browsing a lot, you always end
up with at least some
tabs which have a tab text color which is impossible to read. I don't have any
specific ways to repro this, but
if you open many tabs and load web pages in them, switching between them, it is
bound to happen.

could you add a screenshot? how many taps you opened?
tested it with about 20tab, everything looks fine for me.

I noticed that, but I'm quite sure it's not because of many tabs being opened. It's down to the style and/or colors set on
KDE. Sometimes when a webpage is loading, the text in the tab is displayed in a different color (often white), which makes
it unreadable on certain styles.

I just recommend altering some of your colors in kcontrol.

For me this happens, while a website is loading in a tab until it finishes
loading. The name of the site appears in light grey while the the color of the
tab is grey as well. Like this the name can be hardly seen.

Seen it as well on the live CD from 30-03-05.

Some issue which comes up because the color of the inactive-tab text is now darker:
making this color darker also makes the color of the inactive titlebar text darker.
In combination with the shadow effect from the plasitk theme this is getting
hard to read.
An easy way to fix this would be to remove the shadow effect.

cut and paste from irc:

12:07 < ttf> Riddell: thanks for the tab issue fix - but the problem is now,
that the titlebar text of inactive windows is pretty hard to read (blured)
             because of the shadow effect.
12:08 < ttf> Riddell: snapshots at
http://halls.debian.net/~tom/snapshots/titlebar_with_shadow.png and
             http://halls.debian.net/~tom/snapshots/titlebar_without_shadow.png
12:09 < ttf> Riddell: fix would be to add kwinplastikrc to your
kubuntu-default-settings/.../config/ containing the following lines:
12:10 < ttf> [General]
12:10 < ttf> TitleShadow=false
