[gusty] I can't edit K menu

Bug Description

If I tried to add some programs with the KDE Menu Editor, for example kcontrol, when I tried save or close the application, I got this error:

Menu changes could not be saved because of the following problem:
Could not write to /home/x/.config/menus/applications-kmenuedit.menu

I use Kubuntu tribe 5 updated to 07-09-07

Please look at the other bug report to see if there is any missing information that you can add, or to see if there is a workaround for the bug. Solved this problem doing :
sudo chown -R <your user name> .config/
Is this really the same bug as 88426 ?
