Konqueror and Adobe Flashplayer - Konqui locks up

Here are the error messages I receive when I run Konqueror from the command line:

This -> http://www.guardian.co.uk/Technology/news/story/0,,2133240,00.html <- URI causes the lockup, as well as other pages. I have just tested this in Firefox, and it didn't lock up. Youtube is another Konqueror + Flash killer as well with the same error output.

Exactly the same for me in a fully updated Gutsy system. Actually any page with flash on it will lock up konqueror. Firefox works normally.

OK, it seems to be working today. I think it was due in part to recent gtk+ updates. Is it still an issue with you?

I will have to play a few YouTube videos to see if it happens now.

Just tested Konqueror with Flash sites, it hangs too

Yes, it is still occurring. It is related to the GTK stuff that is breaking everything. Kind of stinks that GTK would break a KDE app though, thanks to Flash :)

I confirm that Konqueror locks up in any site with Flash. Disabling plugins Konqueror hasn't problem in my Pc. Of course, Flash animation doesn't work but Konqueror doesn't lock and the site is loaded normally.

I can also confirm this problem on kubuntu 7.10 installed from tribe3 cd

Confirmed in gutsy latest here too. Youtube locks cold in Konq but Firefox has no troubles.

I have the same problems with Opera too.
