Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
I had just logged out of kde desktop, and logged in to xfce desktop.
I upgraded to karmic 9.10 yesterday and had not used the kde desktop on this system before, in fact, I did not know I had installed it.
The network manager plasmoid had never appeared, and the desktop was not usable, the wireless interface had not been started.
The wireless access point requires a WEP key, I do not know if kde keyring was working or installed.
