Bug Description

Binary package hint: notification-daemon

I hope I selected the right package.
Using Kubuntu Jaunty, KDE 4.3rc from backports ppa.

After a fresh login the notification area shows a small black spot on the left side, as seen in the screenshot.
After one program added or removed in the notification area/task tray, it works as expected, just the glossy background without black.

Definitely not a notification-daemon bug. But I have no idea about which KDE package it belongs to.

Thank you for helping with making Ubuntu better by reporting this bug. I've assigned this bug to kdebase-workspace, the source package of plasma-widgets-workspace, the package that contains the notification area.
KDE 4.3 has already been released. Can you reproduce this bug with the latest version of KDE 4.3 for Ubuntu?
Thanks in advance.

You could ask other people you know that run KDE 4.3, or otherwise try it out yourself to see if the bug still can be verified. If no one can confirm this bug it will have to be marked as Invalid after a certain period of time. However, of course it can be reopened if someone does find this bug again.
