Thank you for your report!

However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate an useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:

libavcodec52: installed version None, latest version: 3:0.svn20090204-2ubuntu1
libpostproc51: installed version None, latest version: 3:0.svn20090204-2ubuntu1
python-central: installed version 0.6.9ubuntu3, latest version: 0.6.11ubuntu1
libc6: installed version 2.9-0ubuntu11, latest version: 2.9-0ubuntu12
libavutil49: installed version None, latest version: 3:0.svn20090204-2ubuntu1

Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report.

Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for the inconvenience!

I have added a backtrace, and also i have noticed, that this crash does not happen with a newly created user. So some configuration is causing this issue. I will investigate further

If i delete the attached file plasma-appletsrc from .kde/share/config, the crash won't happen

After deleting plasma-appletsrc i have tried to reconfigure my desktop, as it was before. The crash still does not happen anymore, but i cannot figure out, which setting was responsible for the crash, so i attach the new plasma-appletsrc for examination

It was the Quicklaunch applet. :)

Did you have the quicklaunch applet in the panel? There's a bug with it that causes it to crash Plasma in Qt 4.5.
