Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-plasma

I have the rssnow plasmoid installed but the rss data engine is missing. I noticed this because rssnow it not fetching the feeds. It doesn't signal anything, so I googled for it and came out with this link

These files are missing:

Don't know if kdebase-plasma the right package, dough

Needs a build-dep on kdepimlibs5-dev. We'll try to get this solved for the 4.1.96 packages. :-)

status: New → Triaged

Didn't get done, eh? Still see the issue with the 4.1.96 packages.

This bug was fixed in the package kdebase-workspace - 4:4.1.96-0ubuntu4

kdebase-workspace (4:4.1.96-0ubuntu4) jaunty; urgency=low

  [ Jonathan Thomas ]
  * Build-dep against kdepimlibs5-dev, add the plasma rss dataengine to the
    packaging. (LP: #315155)

  [ Michael Casadevall ]
   * Readded patches left out by last merge.
   * debian/control
     - Added build-dep on kdepimlibs5-dev
   * debian/patches/kubuntu_53_change_qreals_in_kephal.diff
     - Works around a but in qdbuscpp2xml which causes qreals
       in the return time to be left out. A bug with Trolltech
       has been filed, but is currently not visibly on their
       bug tracker. This should be removed once the bug has
       been fixed.
   * kubuntu_54_correct_qreal_fuzzy_matches.diff
     - Corrected fuzzy matches with qreals by explicately casting
       them to doubles so GCC knows which function to use instead
       of bailing with ambiguous function
     - Was dropped, merged upstream

  [ Anthony Mercatante ]
  * Added kubuntu_56_solid_changes_kdebluetooth.diff:
    - Fixes kdebluetooth4 0.3 build for 4.2.
    - Patch from 4.3 svn trunk
