In some cases it would be more convenient to be able to resize plasmoids like windows, so to resize it in one direction by dragging its edge or in two directions by dragging its corner. The curernt resizing by dragging the resize button on the handle is especially inconvenient e. g. when I want to make a plasmoid fit in a space: I first have to move the plasmoid exactly to the center of the space. In addition to resizing by dragging the edge, an Alt/Meta+Click combination for resizing would be convenient, just as Alt/Meta/Right click to resize windows as the nearest edge was dragged.
