kde4 won't reposition widgets in task bar

Bug #226427 reported by Lars Noodén on 2008-05-04
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
KDE Base
Fix Released
kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

If I 'right-click' in the task bar on the icon for a program or widget, then the option to move or reposition the icon is missing (it was there in KDE <=3.5.x) The current options shown with a 'right-click' are
   Application Launcher ...
   Panel ...
   Add Widgets ...
   Remove this ...

This setup originates from 'kubuntu-kde4-8.04-alternate-amd64.iso'

Ok. So KDE 4 is still in rather early alpha stage, where features are still getting chosen and/or implemented. That's fine, but the naming should reflect the situation.
