Bug Description

When selecting "leave" from the Kmenu, you then get the choice between logging out, shutting down, restarting, etc. Then, after you choose "logout," the screen darkens, and another dialog box with the option to log out, switch users, restart, etc. appears. You should only have to click logout once.

To achieve this go to system settings, then session manger (in the advance tab.)

The first two check boxes are:

Confirm Logout
Offer shutdown options

Just uncheck them for the desired effect

This is just a problem with the default settings - can these be changed for Kubuntu - KDE4?

I also stumbled over this wrong default setting with the previously released kubuntu 8.04 (kde4)

We're going to have to rely on KDE to make it so that the second dialog can be disabled only for Kickoff. Currently if we changed the defaults to turn the dialog off, we'd break the Application Launcher Menu.
