Bug Description

Hi,

I was trying to report this bug at KDE but instead they sent me here. As Ubuntu and Kubuntu are taking different paths I have some doubts if this part of Launchpad will be the one to post the bugs or some sort of "http://bugs.launchpad.net/kubuntu" will be created in the future.

Now back to business.

This bug is very easy to replicate. All you get to do is open System Settings --> User Management and right away it crashes. You can repeat so many times as you like.

I'm using Kubuntu 13.04, Kernel 3.8.0-030800rc1-generic (but it is the same with the original 3.7) plus full updates. The failing module is kcmshell4().

The attached info was created by Kubuntu.

Regards.

Turbo.

Hi Khairul,

I'm guessing you get text console, right ??

Try the following. Login with your user/password and type "sudo startx" and see if you have the graphical interface back.

Greetings.
