Working with MP830 printer. A week ago intermittent problems started showing up with MP830 attached to Kubuntu 12.04 and used by another Kubuntu box and Win7. Printer would print a partial page and hang. Ended up having to move printer to Win7 and give Kubuntu boxes access. No problems with this setup. I'll try the original setup after 12.04 is finalized.

Harald, system- config- printer- kde was removed from Ubuntu years ago, the problem must be in some other component, probably in KDE's printer setup tool needing to be updated for recent API changes in system- config- printer.
