Hope this is helpful. Following a recent update, I noticed that none of my printers (network, or Samba attached). I tried accessing the printer configuration tool in System Settings (both via the KDE gui, and from the terminal) to see if I could do a test print. The printer configuration tool crashed, and since then every attempt I've made to access printer configuration has crashed.
