dolphin crashed with SIGSEGV in KDirModel::qt_metacall() after changing permissions

Bug #440024 reported by Xosé on 2009-10-01
This bug affects 6 people
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
kde4libs (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase

On the command line I 'chown'ed a directory. Right-clicking on the folder in dolphin to check the change had taken effect didn't show any changes, so I pressed F5 to refresh. dolphin crashed.

Expected behaviour: F5 refreshes the directory info; right-clicking on the folder woul show the new owner.
