Bug Description

Binary package hint: dolphin

Using the Jaunty Jackalope LiveCD (9.04 with KDE) from ubuntuusers.de I found the following bug in Dolphin (4:4.4.2-0ubuntu4)

I made a backup from a harddrive (something around 150GB) into a image file. After the backup has finishes I saw that the filesize displayed in Dolphin was very much too small for the backup.

Dolphin displayed the image file with 27MB, which cant be true, because after mounting the image file, every file seems to be there (the one I saw has got more than 27MB).

Have a look on the screenshot I attached, i think that explains all.

Hope you can help (if its no bug)...

PS: Sorry for my english, i hope you understand the necessary parts...

Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. But don't worry! This issue is being tracked by the KDE developers at: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=195597
Once fixed in KDE, it will be included in Kubuntu once the KDE version the fix is in in reaches Kubuntu.

Thanks!
