I can confirm this bug, all EV certificates I have tried from Comodo don't work in KDE 4.0.4 and 4.1 beta 1 while they work without problems in previous KDE versions and on Firefox and Internet Explorer.
As Comodo is one of the major SSL providers I think this is an important bug to fix.
